Setup Guide
Install and configure Datalara to pull rich property data directly into Salesforce. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
Install the Package
Install the Datalara managed package from AppExchange into your Salesforce org. The package includes custom fields, a Lightning component, and a Flow template.
For production orgs, use the production install link. For sandboxes, use the sandbox install link.
Set Up the Named Credential
After installing the package, open the Datalara app in Salesforce and click 'Register'. You'll receive a confirmation email with your API password.
Update the Datalara Named Credential in Salesforce Setup with the supplied password. This authenticates all API calls between your org and Datalara.
Map Your Object
In the Datalara Settings tab, choose which Salesforce object will receive property data. Common choices include Lead, Account, Property (custom), or any object with address fields.
You can map to standard or custom objects — Datalara works with any object that has a record ID.
Map Your Fields
Select which Datalara fields map to which Salesforce fields on your chosen object. You can map any of our 150+ fields to any field on your object.
Field mapping is flexible — map as many or as few fields as you need. You can always add more later.
Automate with Flow
Use the included Flow template to automatically fetch property data when a record is created or updated. You can trigger fetches based on any criteria — new lead created, address field changed, button click, etc.
Flows give you full control over when and how data is fetched. No code required.
